Eat Digital takes data privacy very seriously, and its system is designed with care of client and user data at its core.

End users can unsubscribe from future emails from Eat Digital and will always be advised of how to contact Labels to request to be removed from their marketing lists.

Eat Digital does not rent, sell or otherwise distribute or disclose data to third parties except where this is required by law.

A condition of a client (Label) utilising the services of Eat Digital is its commitment to adhere to our general Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy which is outlined below.

Eat Digital (referred to in this Privacy Policy as "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of all parties (both clients (Labels) and users (Recipients).)

This Privacy Policy explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information, and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions to which all clients (Labels) are required to adhere as part of their use of the services we offer.

We process personal data in accordance with, the data protection laws of Australia.

Specification of Liability of Services

This Privacy Policy covers the provision of the Services only and not any other companies' websites which you may access from the Site or by using the Services.

Alterations to this Policy

If we change the Privacy Policy we will place notices on the Site and post the changes on this page. Any client (Label) who subsequently does not accept any changes to the Privacy Policy should then cease using the Services and contact a member of Eat Digital's staff to close their account.

We may additionally elect to advise all clients (Labels) of changes to this Privacy Policy by writing (e-mail). Where any changes are notified in this way, clients (Labels) will be offered the opportunity to opt-out of using the system. Any clients (Labels) who have not opted to withdraw from the system following a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of written instructions will be assumed to have agreed to and expressed intent to comply with the changes. In the case of electronic mail, time-stamp of mails sent will be considered time of receipt.

Personal Information Collected

In the case of clients (Labels) we will only collect personal information that has been provided either when registering for the Services of if you have previously registered your details with a company which has since joined the Services provided by Eat Digital.

In the case of users (Promo Recipients) data will be provided either by the user or by the client (Label). In the case of the latter, the client (Label) may add to the System email addresses of its contacts to whom it would like to send promo material via the Eat Digital system.

Use of personal Information

We may use personal information for: administrative, operational and marketing purposes, and to communicate with you about your use of the Services any changes to the Services.

User contact details may, with the consent of the users, be offered to other clients (Labels) as part of a Global Promo Pool. The User will have the option of selecting from which client/s (Label/s) he or she would like to continue to receive music.

We will only pass on information to other organisations if it is required by law or if it is necessary to perform the Services. In each case Eat Digital will endeavour to inform all users of this. Any personal information that you choose to provide to us or to other companies using our Services will only be used in support of the intended purposes stated at the time at which it was collected and subject to any preferences indicated by you.

Disputes

If a client (Label) breaches their contractual agreement with Eat Digital their personal information may be passed to third parties, such as legal advisors, to the extent necessary to enable those third parties to bring the matter to a resolution.

Transference

If Eat Digital is sold or otherwise transferred to new owners, and/or is integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to any advisors and any purchasers and their advisors and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

Anonymous Data

We may collect and disclose information to third parties in aggregate (so that no individual members are identified) for statistical analysis and strategic development purposes.

Cookies

We may use "cookies" to collect aggregate information. A "Cookie" is a small piece of information sent by our web server to your web browser, which enables us to record anonymous details and allows you to move around the Site faster. We may use cookies for a number of purposes, for instance to enable us to simplify the logging on process, to help ensure the security and authenticity of members and to enable traffic monitoring.

The Eat Digital Website may contain links to other Websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you access other Websites using the links provided, the operators of these Websites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy practices, which may differ from ours.
